About Edinburgh Festival Carnival

The seventh Edinburgh Festival Carnival delivers a dazzling spectacle under the castle!

Over 800 performers deliver an extravaganza humming with the rhythms of salsa, African drummers, Balkan beats and swirling pipes and a feast for the eyes with sequined dancers, feathered costumes, Chinese dragons, circus performers and street theatre.

Venues: Princes Street, Princes Street Gardens.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Edinburgh Festival Carnival are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
