150 years after the birth of Ernest Shackleton, join Lindsey Gibb and Nicola Wright for a whirlwind tour of the life beyond the ice of the legendary polar explorer and the extraordinary women who inspired him: from school truant to Merchant Navy man, from dabbling in journalism to failed political ventures, from his years in Scotland to his eternal quest for treasure.
